CAMEROON OVERCOME EGYPT

The African Cup of nations came to an end seeing Cameroon overcoming Egypt in 93 minutes. The game was equipped with flair and goals.

 

The game saw the first yellow card in the 88th minute. This means it was smooth flowing. End to end attacks and that led to Egypt scoring the first goal. Cameroon looked good going forwad and they managed to get the equalizer.

 

Later cameroon scored a winning goal at the dying minutes of the game. Egypt tried to pull back and they got afree kick right infront of the 18 area but the effort was sent sky high.

 

We have witnessed a great spectatorship and amongst the deligates former captain Samuel Eto’o was spotted celebrating. Officially 2017 edition came to an end and the trophy is off to cameroon for the 5th time in the history AFCON.

CITY OF TSHWANE

The city of Tshwane has so many sporting activities ranging from football, cricket and some form of athletics. We also have golf clubs in Pretoria East and North.

We have two football teams playing on the domestic league. The teams are Mamelodi Sundowns representing residents of Mamelodi, a township in the east of city of Tshwane. It’s supported by Mamelodi residents mostly but the team attracted more spectators and they are supporting the team. Mamelodi Sundowns is a current South African Premier Soccer League and African Champions league champions. The supporters call this team ABAFANA BA STYLE, KA BO YELLOW, THE BRAZILIANS and their slogan is THE SKY IS THE LIMIT

Moving on the west of Pretoria there is Supersport United, based and representing mostly residents of Atteradgeville and far west of the city. They play a very enterprising football with a powerful youth development structures. Just like their counterparts they have won Premiership honours. They are known to their supportes as MATSANTSANTSA A PITORI.
